What is Reiki?

Reiki, meaning 'universal life force', is a Japanese technique used for stress reduction, relaxation, and also facilitates the healing process. It works by triggering the body's natural ability to heal and treats the person as a whole affecting the body, the emotions, the mind and the spirit. It is a  simple, natural and safe method of

self-improvement and spiritual healing which works in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve the effects of illness and support recovery. Universal life energy flows through the Practitioner's hands, which act as a transceiver of energy, to be passed on to the person who needs it.
